These sheets are then cut into required mat sizes, and a shearing process gives them a smooth and even surface. Finally, colourful stenciled and printed designs are applied, resulting in rich, vibrant, and durable coir doormats. The PVC backing plays a dual role – it locks the coir bristles firmly in place while providing a strong anti-slip grip on the floor. This also ensures minimal fibre shredding and makes the mats longer lasting than traditional woven types.
